Free Brian Aitken!

E-mail Print PDF

Anybody tuning in to NJ 101.5 today heard about ongoing efforts to free Brian Aitken from an unjust prison sentence, and also heard some pretty scary stories from audience members who have had personal experience with New Jersey's ridiculous maze of gun laws.

Here's what you can do: Contact Governor Christie and let him know that Brian Aitken's sentence was a travesty of justice, and that he should be released from prison.

E-mail Print PDF
A few weeks ago Senator Jeff Van Drew's proposal for CCW legislation in NJ garnered a good bit of attention - the NJ.com article boasted over 350 comments and sparked optimism amongst pro-rights groups across the state.

Yesterday, an article in the Courier Post suggested that looking at updates to NJ's gun laws would be prudent given the fact that New Jersey has come face to face with the reality that taxpayer dollars are not in endless supply. If the state is looking at saving money, it only makes sense to encourage a little more self-sufficiency. It's definitely a conversation that's long overdue.

Erik Scott was a West Point graduate, Army veteran, MBA graduate of Duke University, and a medical sales rep for Boston Scientific. He was gunned down by three Las Vegas police officers after they responded to a 911 call by Costco store employees reporting a man with a gun, possibly on narcotics, behaving erratically.
